建行宣布支持火狐 网银兼容再获阶段性成果
11 February 2010近日，建设银行宣布支持Firefox(火狐)浏览器，国内网上银行对非IE浏览器的兼容性再一次取得阶段性成果。
Firefox(火狐)浏览器自发布以来，以其“安全、个性、快速”的理念赢得众多拥趸，占有率持续上升。在火狐等浏览器的冲击下，微软IE曾 经一统江山的局面已经打破。据美国互联网流量监测机构Net Applications发布的统计数据显示，今年1月期间，微软IE浏览器全球市场份额降至62.2%，创下历史新低。火狐浏览器市场占有率已超过3 成，稳坐全球浏览器市场第二把交椅。
在国内，由于多数网上银行系统使用了微软的ActiveX控件，导致中国网民在使用大多数银行提供的网银服务时，只能通过微软的Windows操作系统 和IE浏览器来操作。2008年，第三方支付平台“支付宝”基于广大火狐用户的强烈呼声和众多非IE用户的需求推动，专门推出支持火狐浏览器的支付宝安全 控件，方便了用户的网络支付需求，对于“IE标准”的挑战取得了新的胜利!此次，国有四大行之一的建设银行也宣布支持火狐，通过对安全控件实施插件封装， 提升网上银行的页面兼容性。面向占全球1/3的火狐用户，建行个人网银为抢占火狐用户市场赢得重要的先机。另悉，上海浦东发展银行也已支持 Firefox(火狐)浏览器。

上海浦东发展银行在2007年的时候就支持Firefox了，恶心建行谈何率先支持？？是不是看到能抱上建行这棵大树，就可以把真正率先支持Firefox的浦发晾到一边了？？这叫忘恩负义还是过河拆桥？？

I think it would be necessary for online banking to support Firefox, not just IE. In fact, Firefox is much faster and safer. If it can’t be implemented at Firefox’s core, maybe a plugin can be develop for that purpose.
