My new Scion xA


I got a new car …


Newcar

Like some other UE people at Mozilla, I just bought a new car.

I picked up my brand new Scion xA last Friday, only to find myself the victim of an unfortunate statistical improbability, the new car’s frame wasn’t welded correctly. After a week of repairs, the dealership kindly gave me a new-new car. The final xA I ended up with is a Release Series 3.0, number 997 out of 2100.

I want to thank Melinda Tran and Kevin Kopacz at Magnussen’s Scion of Palo Alto for the way they handled the rather unusual circumstances. If you find yourself interested in buying a Scion in the Bay Area, I was very happy with the way they resolved my problem.

The car looks very roomy. Are there also technical data for it? The car has a really interesting and pleasing Design.

1.5 L DOHC I4 engine.
108 hp (81 kW) @ 6000 rpm (revised to 103 SAE net horsepower in 2006)
105 ft·lbf (142 Nm) of torque @ 4200 rpm (revised to 101 ft·lbf in 2006)…blahblahblah ;)

The car is really very attractive whenever any one visit this side will leave the comment. And it is of good apperance. Congraculation to the manufacturers.

Yeah, that car is crazy good with gas mileage. I’m getting a new car december and definitely am debating getting this one, same color too. Good choice. :)
