If you’re ipv6 enabled, stuff the following into your hosts file and let me know how it goes.
2620:0:330:5::10 www.mozilla.com 2620:0:330:5::11 www.mozilla.org 2620:0:330:5::31 addons.mozilla.org
It might even be faster (since you’re probably the only one using those machines)!

Hm. I wonder how I would become IPv6 enabled — the average DSL provider (or university) don’t seem to offer that. :-/

If you are behind NAT, Teredo. If you are not behind NAT, or you control your router that does NAT in IPv4 and it supports it, use 6to4.
Doesn’t work. Network is unreachable from 2001:1528:104::/48 as well as from 2002:de9b:f692::/48
