False Alarm
30 June 2006There were reports recently of a new security bug that affected both IE and Firefox involving the outerHTML property. Thanks to the hard work of Dan Veditz we’ve concluded (and Sans agrees) that this is not an issue in Firefox.

outerHTML isn’t supported at all by Mozilla, so I found the claim of a security issue in Firefox, using the outerHTML property rather strange.
I really wish people would investigate better before making claims about possible security holes in Firefox.
