False Alarm
30 June 2006There were reports recently of a new security bug that affected both IE and Firefox involving the outerHTML property. Thanks to the hard work of Dan Veditz we’ve concluded (and Sans agrees) that this is not an issue in Firefox.
Uninstall Survey Data Viewer!
16 June 2006Thanks to the hard work of Wil and the Ops Team there is now a viewer for the uninstall survey data. Have a look. Definitely lots of useful data in there. For those curious the graphs are rendered via plotkit. The viewer app was our first use of CakePHP – which we’ll be using more [...]
The Power of One
12 June 2006The Mozilla project is at a really interesting stage of life. We are large enough to get meaningful things done, yet small enough to notice the impact of each individual. As the project has grown it has been really fun to watch the impact of each new person. For example, for FF2 without Dietrich we [...]
FF2 In-line spell check kicks butt

Firefox 2 Alpha 1 – Not Yet!
20 March 2006Despite the many posts about it – Firefox 2 Alpha 1 is not YET out.
Morning Fun – The Peanut gun
16 February 2006There are a few great hardware geek websites I read on a regular basis – one of them being www.anandtech.com which in general is awesome. A few days ago they ran an insider view on newegg.com, from whom I’ve bought more computer parts than I’d like to admit. What I thought was going to be [...]
Security and Vulnerability Ratings
8 February 2006There have been many questions about an issue patched in the most recent Firefox 1.5.0.1 release. When the release came out we rated its severity as
