		<description>Sorry, folks.  Jesse is definitely correct.  The amount of total work done remains the same...my definition of a lever is not correct.  The work might be more &quot;easily&quot; done, but it is still the same amount of work.  Thanks, Jesse!</description>

		<description>Your physics analogy is slightly off -- levers increase *force* at the expense of distance, leaving the same amount of total *work* done.  Which makes sense, because work is closely related to energy, and energy is conserved.</description>
