Why are programmers designing your merchandise? Your logo appears 4 times on this poster. Overkill and bad branding!
And your t-shirts, lose the adolescent color collars and change shirt brand. That type t-shirt material only enhances man boobs .
Your web and mail products on the other hand are second to none!!!

ok dzine boy needs to get off-line and do some push-ups…hahaha

Adding the slogan “Rediscover the Web”(in big letters) and some special features on getfirefox.com would give a meaning of this poster. I think that these small logos are better be removed, too…

Hey, guys: Fathead Stickers are shaped. It’s NOT a square.
The main sticker is the giant firefox logo with nothing around it - The rest are basically window dressing.

This is one HUGE set of wall stickers! I mean really flipping *HUGE*.
For those that don’t know, Fatheads are large wall stickers, usually of sports players, race cars, and such. They are printed on durable vinyl and are fade resistant. They use a special low-tack adhesive that will not damage walls and will not pull off paint, unless the paint is already peeling, and can also be used on wallpaper (But are they not intended for rough textured walls). Fatheads can be removed and re-used. (I’d keep the backing around for moving/removing to keep dirt off of the adhesive).
I count 7 separate Firefox stickers on this sheet. They can all be pulled off and applied separately.
These sorts of wall stickers can easily sell for $100 or more. So if you were suffering from a bit of sticker shock (get it, sticker?) keep in mind for something of this size at such high resolution and quality it is well worth it, especially if you plan to put it up where many people can see it. And people WILL see it!

lol
Well, obviously some of us can’t read? And now, I’d be tempted to say, “what a bonehead!” But you know what? I’m not one to judge! So I’m not going to say that!
I will however say this:
I REALLY want that sticker!! That’s freakin’ awesome. I love the Firefox logo! I just thought I was weird though. But evidently, there are others who think it’s nice to look at, too!! And 5 feet! Wowza!!
Hmm….
Perhaps someone could post a list on here…?
Something to the effect of:
“Top 5 Ways To Justify Spending $70 (+shipping)
On A Bad Ass Sticker of Epic Proportions.”
???????????????maybe.???????????????
Take care….peace!

Hey, I LOVE the marketing of these products. If they get any cooler or cuter, I’ll flip. I don’t know what the person up at the top is complaining about. He probably works for mickeysoft.
The art is cool, the fox is adorable and the one with “don’t hurt the web” is precious. I have shown it to so many people and they all love it!

I agree with the masses who suggest that this is on wicked poster. Who doesn’t want everyone who walks through their office to know what a firefox pyscho they are!?
Tehee, i also agree with jessica that the first guy must work for “mickeysoft”

Hello guys,
Do you think you can stick that on a white car? Is the big logo transparent? Size? Will it resist to rain, and other car-related stuff?
Thanks!

The official fathead manufacturer says that it’s officially “designed for clean, dry, flat wall surfaces” — so no guarantees.
But from using one it is strong enough to adhere pretty well to a but not so strong that you can’t remove it just by peeling. It’s a fairly heavy-duty material, so I imagine it could hold up fairly well to the elements. You should test a small part of it (it comes with a few smaller stickers) to make sure that it will work for you.
It’s not transparent.

I… I would wear it as clothing.

Too big, too expensive, too invasive, too much information.
Imagine yourself driving at 60 m/hr and attempting to read it. You have to SEE it!
So redesign and use the logo only and make it an eighteen inch circle that can be posted in malls, in school lockers and even internet caffees. That’s my idea.

I’m interested in using this for an outdoor project. Exactly how weatherproof is this thing?

barbara jensen, dude, its not all just one big piece, the giant firefox logo in the center peels off and so do all the other smalle logos. and quick question, for their contest, does anyone know if you have to buy the fathead logo if your plans get selected? If so thats completely retarded and completely defeats the purpose of a contest.

I am glad that Mozilla is taking a more aggressive approach in marketing Firefox to the general public. Websites and Large Search Engines such as http://www.amdk7.com and Computer Wholesalers like the well respected http://www.1-cpu.com already does a good job and contributes a large amount of time in marketing Firefox to the General Public, but Mozilla really needed to establish an offline solution for marketing expansion and I believe that with the FatHead gigantic stickers it a good way to go. The only think that I didn’t noticed on the FatHead sample design was the Uniform Request Locator (URL) to Firefox’s main website so people can know where to go to download Firefox.

Google fathead sticker. This is probably the cheapest fathead sticker I’ve seen.
It’s a 4 foot high resolution sticker for gods sake. I’m sure they don’t make any profit off of these (surely not more than $10).
I think they are awesome, though, I don’t know what I would do with them, lol.

I keep telling my friends to convert to Firefox. They all say “What’s that?”. Unfortunately, word of mouth is the most effective marketing you have. This poster is not going to help.
If I was one of the millions who’s never heard of Firefox & I saw this poster, I would ask myself “What the hell is that?”, carry on walking… and carrying on using my inferior browser.
I agree with all the points above about design flaws in the poster itself. More importantly, you have failed to convey any message about what Firefox does & why anyone should want it.
I’m not going to sign up for placing a poster, but I will gladly help you focus your marketing if you’d care to get in touch.

yes! please EVERYONE use firefox so I don’t have to worry about how IE’s creates more work.
