I keep telling my friends to convert to Firefox. They all say "What's that?". Unfortunately, word of mouth is the most effective marketing you have. This poster is not going to help.

If I was one of the millions who's never heard of Firefox & I saw this poster, I would ask myself "What the hell is that?", carry on walking... and carrying on using my inferior browser.

I agree with all the points above about design flaws in the poster itself. More importantly, you have failed to convey any message about what Firefox does & why anyone should want it.

I'm not going to sign up for placing a poster, but I will gladly help you focus your marketing if you'd care to get in touch.

Google fathead sticker. This is probably the cheapest fathead sticker I've seen.

It's a 4 foot high resolution sticker for gods sake. I'm sure they don't make any profit off of these (surely not more than $10).

I think they are awesome, though, I don't know what I would do with them, lol.

I am glad that Mozilla is taking a more aggressive approach in marketing Firefox to the general public. Websites and Large Search Engines such as www.amdk7.com and Computer Wholesalers like the well respected www.1-cpu.com already does a good job and contributes a large amount of time in marketing Firefox to the General Public, but Mozilla really needed to establish an offline solution for marketing expansion and I believe that with the FatHead gigantic stickers it a good way to go. The only think that I didn't noticed on the FatHead sample design was the Uniform Request Locator (URL) to Firefox's main website so people can know where to go to download Firefox.

barbara jensen, dude, its not all just one big piece, the giant firefox logo in the center peels off and so do all the other smalle logos. and quick question, for their contest, does anyone know if you have to buy the fathead logo if your plans get selected? If so thats completely retarded and completely defeats the purpose of a contest.

Too big, too expensive, too invasive, too much information.
Imagine yourself driving at 60 m/hr and attempting to read it. You have to SEE it!
So redesign and use the logo only and make it an eighteen inch circle that can be posted in malls, in school lockers and even internet caffees. That's my idea.
