  1. Don Hsieh Says:

Apparently it costs more to ship the bag to Vancouver Canada than it does to actually buy the bag.

    Value of Shipment 60.00
    Actual Freight 27.87
    Duties 10.54
    Taxes 14.06
Custom Clearance Fee 19.00 (probably using UPS and not USPS to ship as UPS has ridiculously high fees)
    Total Freight Cost 71.48

I am glad the store emailed me to confirm.

  2. Kaisei Says:

This is a really cool bag for a laptop. I only wish this could accommodate a 17″ laptop…SIGH…(please hear our plead) :D

  3. Peggy Collrin Says:

I love this! Wish I could afford it!

  4. Miguel Says:

Two things… I wish the item cost less and also I wish they had more perspective pics. to at least show the inside of the bag.

  5. Damase Says:

I too need it to fit a 17″ laptop. Oh well, there goes all the pity I had for all those poor saps with 15″ laptop screens, cause they can have this cool bag. ;)

  6. Christos Says:

It looks really beautiful, but once again too expensive to ship. Nothing can be done there? Too bad, because with lower shipping costs I think many people around the world would make the move and buy it.

  7. Jacob Says:

Good looking bag! Looks to be solidly constructed and includes many features. I think I’ll be buying one, but the $60 price tag is a tad much for a messenger bag. Besides that, it looks to be awesome! Firefox FTW!!

  8. Keith Says:

So I dont understand why anybody would pay 60 bucks to advertise for firefox. I love firefox and the bag and other stuff is cool, bit come on, I’m not going to pay 60 bucks to advertise for them. I’ll spend 40 bucks on a bag of the same quality and not advertise for anybody. Sorry Firefox.

  9. James Says:

*sigh* Bought a 17” wish it would fit….time to invent the firefox mini-blackholeStorage bag T_T

  10. Kieran Tanner Says:

Cool needs to be a lot bigger for large laptops

  11. Georgia Says:

I also need a cool bag for my 17″ laptop! Make a this bag to fit my 17″ “baby” and I will buy it (every other cool large laptop bag is $100 and up– so please keep it reasonable). Please… :)

  12. Michael Crawford Says:

I want 17″ Version! Now! (no, really. I’ll buy it if you get it in 17″)

  13. Chris Norris Says:

    Really cool bag – I also have a 17″ laptop :-(
someone pop this into the suggestion box.

  14. Scott Says:

    Yeah, 17″

I really want you for mine

  15. Mike Ledbetter Says:

Bag looks good, but don’t know how to carry using a sternum strap?? Can you carry over the shoulder??

  16. Mr1010 Says:

Look nice…. but i need more pics..

  17. Doli Says:

    wow..cool..

    I want to buy one..
but i think, the shipping cost is more expensive that its price..
    huhuhu..

    coz i’m in indonesia..
    how can i get it??

  18. Michael Says:

    Hey there,
I’m a student and Im not sure how old u guys r there, but please do u have any other colors -glossy silver, shiny blue – possible?
other than that u guys r amazing – burn Microsoft burn!

  19. Inslide Says:

From the picture it looks very very nice. But I’ve just one question: can I bring it over the shoulder? I mean as backpacks?

Sorry my english is not perfect, but I hope you can understand it. If the bag have this feature I will really think about buying it.

    Thanks in advanced.

  20. Shelly Says:

I want this bag its soo pretty!!
However it wont fit my 19″ widescreen laptop !!
But i’d just use it as a normal bag for my college stuff.
and i dont know if they deliver to northern ireland and if they did it would probally cost more than twice as much as the bag!

  21. Anthony Foster Says:

Nice looking bag…should seriously consider showing pics of it open…a larger size model would really be brilliant as well for us 17″ folk…also don’t think it could hurt if you guys explore working with amazon.com or someone of that nature

  22. Cappy Says:

Price seems on par with the price for non-Firefox Ogio “Hip hop” style bags, which generally run from $50-70 USD.

For those wanting to see more pictures, try searching your preferred search engine for pictures of Ogio bags; this option will help you make your decision instead of waiting for Mozilla to publish additional pictures.

  23. Izzy Says:

Yeah, a bit pricey, but do you use/have lay buy?
Or is it available in stores?
If yes. Where? So that we can check it out inside/out.
If not, what are the other options?
Also what about additional cost for shipping?
Does it come in only one standard size and color??

  24. Syas Nomis Says:

wow this web site is soooooo tacky i mean really who would walk aruond with a mozilla fire fox backpack or tee-shirt : P

  25. Rob Says:

Would it accomidate a 15.4” widescreen? I want one!

  26. nayar Says:

nice bag,I wish it could be purchased, other than online.

  27. Bernard Says:

I don’t mind the price so much, it’s to support a cause. However in being in Canada the cross-border costs are too much. Anybody know a service in Northern New York (Niagara / Buffalo) that support proxy purchases for issues like this?

  28. Wayne Says:

I agree, it would be nice to have better pictures of it but to all of you asking for cheaper prices…. if it were, it would look like all the cheap crap from China made with slave labor and put a man or a woman out of a job HERE, Wayne

  29. nick Says:

Pricey? Has anyone ever looked for a high quality messenger bag padded for computers? $60 is as low as they get, and that’s not for a good cause! That said, I can’t buy it for my 17″ puter. Boo! And I can see how paying a ton for shipping stinks, but I don’t know if Mozilla has much pull with international tax and customs law. I would guess not.
Come On, Mozilla! Can’t you just lower the price of your bags way below market value? Why not take a loss? You guys make so much on your software products… oh yeah.
    Make a 17″ bag and I’m buying!

  30. iwank Says:

oh this is a nice bag
can i get it for free

  31. Idalia Benitez Says:

Will this bag hold a 17″ screen notebook in its proper compartment?

Look dope I’ll trade my Kenneth Cole bag for this one getting one tomorrow!

  32. drolnitzky Says:

Thanks for the feedback. This bag does in fact fit a 17″ notebook computer quite nicely!

    ~Mozilla Store Team

  33. kenshin Says:

i need inside bag picture, from anyone who aleady buy it.

damn its so beautiful !. is there a place i could buy it in Indonesia (store-not online) ? shipping cost is too much :(

  34. Kevin Says:

I’d say this can hold at max two large text books in the center with a book, a couple of folders, and the rest of supplies – like pencils – without too much strain on the material of the bag. It is a nifty messenger bag and I plan to try using it this year in hopes I will have to carry less books around with me. As long as you can keep it organized and have time to switch out your textbooks, it should work great for school.

Hope this helps those that may want to use it as a school bag more then a laptop bag.

  35. Donovan Says:

Awesome bag, I just got it, and looks like will solve my problems of carrying my laptop and my books in different bags, now I got and extra hand to use my cellphone. I’m really glad that at least I can help the Mozilla foundation with this, long life to the open source.

  36. Yannick Sanchez Says:

Hi, I gues that your bag will be smarter in deep blue or green instead of orange color, because this way the mozilla logo will be very boldly enhanced.

  37. Yannick Sanchez Says:

purple or violet color is also suitable

  38. John Jones Says:

I guess you people aren’t reading that it fits a 17″ laptop, then? Did you read the bag dimensions? It says specifically: “And it fits a 17″ notebook quite nicely!”

  39. chris Says:

This is a nice bag, and slightly cheaper then ebags.com has it for (minus the firefox logo). If you want to see pictures look up the ogio hip hop at ebags.com.

  40. Lorenz Kraus Says:

I don’t understand. The bag says it fits a 17″ but a lot of comments say the bag doesn’t fit their 17.”

Does it or doesn’t it fit 17″ bags. I have an HP PAVILLION dv9000 17.”

I agree another view of this bag would be helpful. I would like to carry it as a backpack.

  41. Helder Says:

I bought this bag to replace a pretty beat up Timbuk2 that cost $100 and got it’s butt kicked after a while. This bag totally rocks!! it’s very well made and sturdy and can carry a Powerbook 17″ easily. It’s also just a great looker and conversation starter as most people love Firefox and want to know where to get one this cool. And it handles like a briefcase when you need it too.

    Make mine Mozilla!

  42. Sad Face Says:

When i saw the bag, i was like “NEAT!!!” but then when i saw the price tag… i was like “sad face”

  43. Scott Says:

Well, as soon as I saw it say it will fit 17 I ordered it…
I don’t know what everyone is complaining about shipping mine was $2

  44. Rick Says:

For the person complaining about the price to advertise Firefox. How much are you paying to have the best web browser?? NOTHING. the price also includes a donation to keep Firefox running. If you don’t want to support Firefox GO BACK TO EXPLORER.

    Peace

  45. "Butt"ler Says:

“If you don’t want to support Firefox GO BACK TO EXPLORER.”

That was priceless, YES go and enjoy the “phishers”, “Spam” and the beloved “pop-ups”

  46. Justintime Says:

I placed my order on Friday and I can’t wait to get it…I will finally be able to give my other bag a rest.

  47. Bummer Says:

I’d totally buy this if it were in the 35-40 dollar range.

  48. Papasean Says:

Why can’t you post this to the Uk?
    We use firefox too!

  49. Kaisei Says:

Thank you for updating the specs of the bag on this page. Now it shows that it can accomodate 17″ laptops. I’m ordering mine in a few. As long as the quality is good and yah really need/want it, don’t mind savin’ and payin’ for it. (Plus its for a good cause) It’s a good deal.

  50. Kelly Says:

Dudes, looks to me like it’s simply a branded Ogio Hip Top Messenger bag. Google that and you’ll find lots of pictures and details:
    http://www.amazon.com/OGIO-Hip-Messenger-Brown-Stripe/dp/B000NRTCZ4/ref=sr_1_3/002-0738208-6029651?ie=UTF8&s=apparel&qid=1189176463&sr=1-3

  51. Marc Says:

Broke down and bought it. I use it primarily for carrying stuff (drives, papers, and books) to school and home. I had the opportunity to fly with it right after I got it. It fits a 15.4 laptop nicely with plenty of room for a text book or binder. Lots of divided storage right where is available on on the go.

My only beef was the two square plastic loops that hold the “sternum” strap to the bag on either end rotated and all the webbing wadded up in ends. I don’t think I had it too over loaded. A few stitches to the bag part of straps and hockey tape on the ring for the sternum strap and it was all set. No more sliding.

  52. do Says:

just got, looks cool. didn’t test it out yet.

ordered on Fri, got it Mon. amazing.

  53. Harry Says:

i love to have this bag. especially with the mozilla firefox logo on it.
downside is the price (a bit high), and my location. handling and shipping will cost around 50% of the bag.

  54. GeekGirrrl Says:

Confirm this bag will fit a 17inch laptop, my new Sager 5790 the color match ‘on point’ …. So, So, sweet.

  55. john Says:

HAHA!!!! ogio bag = $47-75 same bag with baddest browser logo $60 MOZILLA 1 – OGIO 0
    buy it

  56. john Says:

i meant to say PLAIN ogio bag, it’s still an ogio bag but looks ten times cooler with the logo. no fun for shipping though

  57. Shawn Pack Says:

I just got my bag. I ordered it on 9/13/07 and it was delivered on 9/20/07 for $2.00 shipping. Yes, its standard shipping inside the US. I can’t complain. I’m super happy with this bag. It’s sexy. My only complaint is that the carrying handle is a bit flimsy. Yes, I realize this is designed to be carried by the sternum strap mostly, but if I was to change anything it’d be a better handle.
Features are pockets for power cords, mice, audio stuff, a PDA, pen holders, flight ticket pocket (on the backside, exterior so it’s next to your person), a pocket for paper files (not to thick though) or magazines. Outside on the front is a pocket for eyeglasses (I’d recommend a case though to keep from getting scratched and crushed) and a cell phone pocket. The cell pocket is at the bottom of the strap so it’s easy to grab when the bag is slung over the shoulder and chest. The zippers are nice. The construction is very nice. And the color is like the picture. Sexy orange with the Firefox log on it. I can’t wait to strut my stuff with this bag.

  58. Tony Says:

I love this product, and $60 isn’t really bad considering that your helping a great cause like Firefox.

  59. do Says:

i got this baggie and 17″ Powerbook fits just nicely!

what is everyone bickering about? did they used to have a 15″ listed?

  60. Benedict Says:

I was about to buy the bag, when I found out that the duty and taxes to ship it to Canada cost more than the bag itself. Most unfortunate… I was looking forward to having it.

Does the Mozilla store only exist online in the States? Or is there a Canadian store as well?

    Cheers

  61. Philip Says:

If you guys are genuine and would like an Asia Pacific outlet I am located in Australia and would stock your items for resale and shipping throughout the region. As an IT pro I switch all my clients to firefox and some add ons would be cool and assist in promoting FF but seriously your shipping costs make MS look like the fairy godmother.

  62. Chris Says:

I got this bag when it first became available. Carries a 17″ MacBook Pro just fine. I plan to use this bag for a long time to come!

  63. Zoinks Says:

Really nice bag. Looks like it will protect my T60p quite nicely, and supporting Firefox is a nice plus.

  64. thanunchaimu Says:

Goods might have sale in Thailand, they are interesting and cool, also tell your goods shown might released so many items,

    thanks you

    Thanunchai M.

  65. Mr. William J. Rountry Says:

    WHY SO EXPENSIVE?.

  66. Daryl Campbell Says:

Just purchased the bag; my only wish was that I had hoped there might have been a choice of colors. However, everything else about the bag seems fine.

  67. Chris Says:

There are several complaints about cost of this bag. Google the name brand once. I Found a bag called OGIO Hip Hop on eBag.com. Bag looks just like this one in different colors without the FireFox logo. There cost $69.99! So it sounds like to me that this is a great price with a unique theme. Also if you want to see additional views of the bag it can be done on eBag.com!

  68. Em Says:

I’m in Australia and I bought one of these bags in February. No Mozilla did not ship it out to me, I have a friend who lives in Illinois and had him buy it for me, he then shipped it out to me, cost (at the time) approx US$30, by the time i adust the exchange rate at the time it end up costing me around $110. Personally it was worth it, yeah pricewise it was a bit much, but I started a new job at the time so I considered the bag my reward. It is of excellent quality, fits everything i need in it and more. You can carry it like a regular shoulder bag or over the neck/shoulder comfortably. It has plenty of pockets and places to store bits and pieces, particularly if you do carry a lap top in it. Read the specs properly people it CAN carry at 17″. The orange colour is quite nice, would have been good to be able to choose other colours, but since I didn’t like the green or grey colour this bag comes in, burnt orange suited me just fine. If you want one of these bags without the firefox logo, check out ebay, plenty on there and Ogio has released a new range with some new colours.

  69. Chris Says:

I have this bag and I love it. Is it a bit expensive at first? Kinda. But two reasons I was ok with it. One it’s a quality bag and it seems like it will hold up for a while, and two I’m contributing to a company I believe in and since I get there software for free I see this as a good deal.

  70. FerJon Says:

I hope this has a green theme version.

    Looking forward to it….

  71. BigD Says:

C’mon guys. The price isn’t that high considering it’s an Ogio brand messenger bag. This is a quality item, therefore it’s not going to be in the same price range as a Wal-Mart special. Having said that, I’d be thrilled if Ogio offered a bulk price and those savings could be passed along to us. :-)

  72. a z r i Says:

    its cool.
i think if the back base color is dard grey.
    will outstand the firefox logo!
    :]
    but it is nice

  73. Kenneth Says:

    Hey Everyone,

How study is this bag? I am looking for a camera bag for my nikon d200 and I wanna know if this would work. Both bags look really cool. Nice job Mozilla! ^_^ If anyone knows if either bag would work better for a camera bag…. lemme know! Thanks!

  74. Tom Says:

Nice bag and the price is fair – but need more pictures in order to buy! How does the shoulder strap look/work? How does the interior look? Pics would help. Like the color as well.

  75. Tom Says:

Addition to comment above, there are a lot of pleads for a bag to fit a 17″ laptop. Per the description that accompanies the picture at the top this bag is designed to fit a 17″ bag nicely.

  76. dude23 Says:

For people that are needing more pics on the bags. just google “ogio laptop bags” you will find many retailers like ebags.com. they have both styles that firefox is selling with many pics of the inside dimentions and pockets. allong with pics of sombody wearing them.

  77. Tim Says:

I’ve seen two slightly different versions of this bag – one has more black around and on the front flap, the other is all orange on the front flap. Looks like you can only order the all orange one. Any place to order that one? Google images of it and you’ll see the difference.

  78. JP Says:

OGIO is a top designer, real quality stuff. here is the link to their page with the same bag. http://www.ogio.com/product.php?product=455

as far as those that say it is too much this same bag without the logo is 70 bucks at ebags and as for as those with international shipping questions, you should be saying that to UPS or FedEx since it is them who generally set the price.

  79. krampus Says:

well….it look very cool…but i need to see it inside coz i carrying books and stuff with me …
